Bryan Denman received his real estate license in 1972, and joined
the Texas Association of Realtors and National Association
of Realtors that same year. Bryan is a life long
resident of Gonzales County and specializes in Ranch Properties.
His Father's side of the family settled in Gonzales
County in 1850 along the banks of the San Marcos
River, and his Mother's side of the family settled
in Gonzales County in 1853 along the banks
of the Guadalupe River.
The families were in ranching, banking, mercantile,
and various other businesses. Bryan graduated from
Gonzales High School in 1965 and Southwest Texas
State University in 1969. He then joined the United
States Navy after college.
He returned to Gonzales in 1972 and entered into
the cattle business and
real estate business. Bryan is a life member of the
Texas Wildlife Association and served on its board
of directors. He is a member of the Texas
and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association presently
serving on the marketing committee. He is a member

In the 1970's, Bryan called state wildlife biologist Dennis Brown and the two approached the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department on establishing a wildlife management association in Gonzales County. Also, state wildlife biologist Donnie Harmel was instrumental in lobbying the department for the cause. Bryan's cousin, Al Brothers who is a noted wildlife biologist, author and one of the foremost authorities on present day whitetail deer management in the nation gave Bryan the idea of the wildlife management association. Texas Parks and Wildlife agreed to a pilot program and the Peach Creek Wildlife Management Association was formed. The association would have never gotten off the ground without the cooperation and help of the neighboring ranchers whose land was enrolled in the program. Peach Creek Wildlife Management Association was the first modern day wildlife association in the state of Texas. Today there are approximately 160 Wildlife Management Associations in the state of Texas and almost 2 million acres of land enrolled.
